Quiet Time Pottery Candleholder
Quiet Time Pottery Candleholder
These delightful scalloped candleholders are meant to hold the candles that you light during your intentional worship practices -- whether that be Sunday lunch, during your morning devotions, or at night as you bless your children before bed.
Each piece was handthrown, glazed, and painted for this collection by Christy Stoltzfus of The Little Kingfisher Pottery, using an earthy tan clay with a slight black speckle. A delicate vine motif wreaths the candleholder, a symbol of "remembering" and "keeping" the Sabbath (Exodus 20:8, Deuteronomy 5:15). Each time you light a candle in these exquisite holders, may your heart find rest as you remember the goodness of God in your life, and hallow your time unto Him.
There are two motif colors available, each one bearing specific symbolism: cobalt, for peace and rest; and red, for commitment and Holy Spirit's presence.
Dimensions: 5" diameter across, with a 1" opening for the candle.
Disclaimer: Each candleholder is entirely handmade. As a result of the unique creative process, no two pieces will be exactly the same. This is what sets handmade pottery apart. Glazing variations and lines and marks where the potter's hands have formed the pieces all contribute to the character of each piece, and create a unique, one-of-a-kind heirloom. Care has been taken to ensure that each piece is very similar to one another. They are fully functional and food safe.
