Commonplace is a publication that celebrates the goodness and beauty of the ordinary. Each themed issue invites the reader to see her everyday life as the place in which God is at work, and invites her to participate with Him in bringing redemption to those common spaces.

We release three issues a year. Each is 180-192 pages long, printed in full color on a lovely uncoated stock, and book-bound with a soft-touch cover. Issues are restfully designed, with beautiful visuals and rich written content that you can savor slowly over time.

New issues release in January, May, and September.

How Subscriptions Work

All subscriptions begin with our current issue, Around My Hometown.

When you subscribe to Commonplace, you will be charged immediately for a copy of our current issue, and then billed automatically each January, May, and September for each new issue as it comes out.

Additional subscription details:

• No set subscription length; you will be charged every four months until you cancel
• Cancel at any time
• Billing for each new issue is the first week of January, May, and September. You will receive an email reminder notifying you of each upcoming charge
• Manage your subscription details by setting up an account at Daughters of Promise. There are two ways to do this: 1) create an account before checkout by clicking the person icon in the top right of your desktop or in the menu on mobile, and then remain logged in to complete your order, OR 2) on your subscription confirmation email, click "Manage Subscription". We strongly encourage you to set up an account as this will allow you to manage your subscription preferences, update your mailing address, skip shipments, etc..
