Pre-orders for the 2025 Clarity Planner are open from Sept. 9-23. Planners are expected to ship in early October.

track tasks, record life.

the Clarity Planner is an end-of-year keepsake.

To have "clarity" is to have a full, detailed, and orderly mental grasp of something. Clarity is not seeing things the way we wish they were, but as they actually are. To have clarity is to be free.

The Clarity Planner is a one-of-a-kind resource designed to help you tell yourself the truth, and to cultivate faithfulness in the everyday habits and rhythms that lead to long-term growth. It includes a thoughtful annual reflection and vision-casting section, plus monthly and quarterly reflection pages to help you keep telling yourself the truth all throughout the year.

Where most planners only include one column of space for each day, the Clarity Planner offers one full page for each day of the year. This daily page is broken into neat and visually calming blocks that help you think about your day in terms of what matters most.

What's new in the 2025 version?

What's new in the 2025 version?

Two cover options

In the past, we've only offered a single cover option for the Clarity Planner. This year, we've given you two to choose from! One is for our neutral-loving girlies: a lovely oatmeal linen cover that has a slight flex to it. The other option is for those that love a pop of bold and cheerful color: a silk touch hardcover in a Danish inspired block print.

Casebound vs. Wire-O

We felt it was time to transition the aesthetic of the planner to one that is more befitting its keepsake nature. Probably the biggest adjustment in the 2025 version is that it is not available with spiral binding. Instead, the planner is bookbound, with smyth sewn pages so it lays flat when open. It remains functional and efficient, while also being as beautiful in use as it will be stored on your bookshelf or coffee table at the end of the year.

Ivory paper vs. White

The interior pages of the planner are a beautiful natural cream color, lending an elegant touch to your writing.

Updated Section Content

You'll notice some upgrades to the content and layout of the annual reflection/planning pages, seasonal spreads, and daily pages. Ultimately, the goal with these changes is to finetune the resource to even better aid you in cultivating rhythms of life that infuse your days with the peace you desire.

On the Daily Page, we've simplified its contents just a touch to lower the risk of overwhelm as you consider the various sections for use. These changes include modifying slightly the arrangement of the sections; removing the "to track" and water sections (you can use the trackers at the front of the planner instead!); changing the Notes from a graph to dotted box; and removing the "top 3" title and instead inserting a tiny squiggle between the first 3 lines and rest of the "to do wholeheartedly" list.

A printable version!

We're excited to offer a printable version of the 2025 Clarity Planner, giving you the flexibility to print your own pages at home as-needed, or order a professionally printed and bound copy.

  • The Abby

This cover, a lovely oatmeal colored linen, was inspired by my friend Abby. If you know Abby, you know that she loves neutrals. She's the queen of beige that's anything but boring. While my home is an eclectic mish-mash of colors and patterns, hers is full of white space; one that feels like an exhale every time you walk through the door. Whether I'm perched on Abby's white sofa, or scrolling her [very] aesthetic Instagram feed, there is a sense of calm and openness.

I knew I wanted to offer a Clarity Planner cover that feels the same way. The Abby has a slightly flexible hardcover that's wrapped in oatmeal linen, and features the planner's trademark ginkgo leaf and title in gold foil on the front. Whether lying on your counter, or stored on a bookshelf, this version is simple, elegant, and restful.

Features: flexicover casebound / oatmeal linen / gold foiling / double satin ribbon / ivory interior pages

  • The Gluggaveður

In case you're not up on your Icelandic, "gluggaveður" [glew-ga-veth-ur] is a charming word that means "window weather", and has the idea of gazing out at a beautiful - but cold - day from the cozy indoors. On a visit to Iceland several years ago, I fell in love with the vibrant colors used on buildings across the country. When bleak weather descends, you catch a glimpse through the window of an apple red front door; the emerald scallops of a roofline; or the cerulean siding of a cottage, and can't help but be cheered.

The block print on this cover design of the Clarity Planner was inspired by the coziness of gluggaveður, and is one that I hope brings a spark of delight to your heart as you use it in the ordinary days of 2025.

  • A VALUABLE TOOL

"The Clarity Planner has become one of my most loved tools over the years. It is truly my favorite planner to date. Of all the pages, I utilize the daily page the most. Each morning or evening, I like to grab my favorite mug, steep some tea and plan for the following day. Outlining my day with a top three and the rest to do wholeheartedly clears my mind and helps me complete tasks efficiently. The Clarity Planner is a valuable tool and friend I hope never to be without."

    - Jolynn

  • MORE THAN JUST A PLANNER

"I love the fresh new page everyday - a reminder of Gods mercies that are new every morning! Alot of my pages have sweet notes/crafts from one of the children or little polaroid photos.  In the ‘Today I give thanks for..’ space I will sometimes write out a verse that popped out at me during my personal devotions. The Clarity planner is more than a planner for me… It's a journal, monthly tracker, baby book, AND planner all in one!"

    - Lynn

  • A MAP FOR THE DAY

"A quick look through my planner makes me realize just how varied each of my days’ responsibilities are— from daily calls with clients to random small tasks for the ministries I work with to folding laundry and having friends over for coffee. One of the main ways I have been using the Clarity planner to help with this chaos is to loosely time map my day in the *Notes* section. It’s been one of the main things that has kept me productive and (mostly) sane in an especially hectic time with my business."

- Identify your core values
- Life House visual journaling exercise

2. Seasonal Reflections

Do you ever feel like you've barely adjusted to one season before it's already halfway into the next? To get the most out of each unique time of the year, it's helpful to pause at the end of one season, and on the brink of the next, to reflect and plan. The Clarity Planner includes space for you to do this. Each quarterly (seasonal) transition spread includes:

- Space to name what matters in the coming season
- Prompt to plan a "hello/goodbye" activity to mark the transition from one season to the next
- Seasonal bucket list
- Seasonal project list
- Annual goal check-in
- Prompts for personal check-in

3. Monthly Pages

Each month includes these four features:

Monthly calendar:
This helpful spread opens each new month, letting you visualize your month at a glance. Weeks are laid out Sunday-Saturday. Public holidays are noted, and an additional note section is included on the right page.
Monthly Orientation:
This page immediately follows the month’s calendar. It includes a prompt to read the Sermon on the Mount and consider how it might affect your life in the month ahead. You'll also find goal- and task-setting blocks for 5 main “zones” of life, plus a blank box for you to add your own category.
Graph page:
This sheet is opposite the goal-setting page, giving you extra room to brainstorm, make lists, etc. throughout the month.
Reflections on the Month:
This single page comes at the end of each month, inviting you to look back on what was lifegiving and what was hard; what memories you’ll carry forward; favorite things you made, listened to, and read.

4. Daily Pages

The Clarity planner devotes one whole page for each day of the year, using an intentional architecture to help you prioritize your activities and cultivate healthy rhythms. Each daily page (sans Sunday) includes these features:

- Weekly Rhythms
- Soul care
- Scheduled activities
- To-do list, with space to designate top 3 tasks
- Meal planning
- Habit tracker
- Dotted note section
- Daily gratitude
- Sunday pages are abbreviated, with space to plan for the week ahead.

How to Use the Daily Page

Weekly Rhythms

At the top left of the page is a slot for "weekly rhythms". This a space to record tasks or events that you do on the same day each week - for example, on Mondays you do laundry; on Fridays you pick up groceries; on Saturdays you clean the bathrooms. By moving these tasks out of the generic "to-do" column, you can begin to view them as an ordinary part of your weekly rhythm instead of one more thing you have to find a space for in your daily to-do list.

Soul Care

Here, you can intentionally integrate activities that tend to your own soul and the hearts of others. It's a reminder to not only "do" but also to "be". Use it to schedule daily or weekly moments of rest, encouragement, or connection.

Scheduled Activities

Pencil in anything that is time-bound: appointments, events, or checkpoints in your day when you plan to tackle a specific thing.

To-Do Wholeheartedly (+ Top 3)

Use this space to jot down all the day's tasks. At the top, you'll notice three lines separated from the rest by a little squiggly line; this is where you can note your Top Three tasks for the day. These are the tasks that will leave you frustrated and stressed if you don’t get them done. They don’t necessarily have to be done first in your day, but are things that are non-negotiables for getting done at some point before the day is over.

Meal Planning

Use this area to plan meals for the day, record what you ate, or as extra writing room for whatever you like.

Habits to Cultivate

This space is for recording the habits you’re building, one day at a time. It can be paired with the Keep Track and Year in Pixels charts at the front of the planner.

Notes

This dotted box can be used for so many things! Use it for quotes, lists, brainstorming, or to journal brief thoughts/memories from the day.

Today I Give Thanks for...

To be used throughout, or at the end of the day, use this space to name the gifts of the day.

5. Extras

At the back of the planner you'll find:

Dotted pages
Perfect if you need extra space to keep lists, make notes, etc..
Expandable pocket
Glued into the back cover, it's the best place to tuck stuff you need to save - receipts, cards, bills, etc..

Is the Clarity Planner a good fit for me?

Like all good inventions, the Clarity Planner both attracts and repels. Some people love it and the way it clicks with their brain. Others find it overwhelming and frustrating. Before you decide whether or not to invest in the Clarity Planner this year, we encourage you to take the Daily Page for a test drive.

In addition, the chart below can hep you decide whether or not this resource will be a good fit for you in 2025.

  • You'll probably love it if you...

Like plenty of space to write each day. The Clarity Planner designates one whole page to each day of the year. Each section is adaptable to your needs and creativity.
Value guided reflections. Annual, monthly and quarterly journaling prompts are designed to help you keep tabs on how you’re doing, not just what you’re getting done.
Want a planner that is simple, but visually pleasing. The Clarity planner offers a clean architecture to create a clear sense of hierarchy to your day.
Don’t care about the flashy stuff. This one is 100% black and white. It doesn’t include any inspirational quotes, illustrations, or color (except on the cover).
Want a way to track tasks but also keep a record of life. The “Notes” section of each day’s page is ideal to list the day’s events, significant feelings/experiences, and memories.
Want to focus on cultivating clarity and intentional life rhythms.
Simple daily and monthly tools help you build consistency in the small things.
  • It's probably not for you if you...

Prefer a one-week spread layout. The Clarity Planner devotes one full page to each day of the year. There is a small “week-at-a-glance” section on each Sunday page.
Love bright colors, quotes, and extras. The Clarity Planner features a simple, clean design and black and white pages, without any graphic extras.
Prefer an hourly timeline of each day. There are no hourly slots for each day; however, the “scheduled activities” section serves as a place to pencil in time-bound activities.
Want a slim planner that takes up minimal space. This year's Clarity Planner is 7" x 9" x 1.25", and casebound, so it does take up more room than the traditional planner.

Plan to throw it away at the end of the year. By design, the Clarity Planner is meant to keep a record of life and personal growth...not just tasks. If used for this purpose, it will be a keepsake at the end of the year.
